Publishing a great podcast is no easy task. It’s easy to look at the entire process and quickly become overwhelmed with all the steps required to successfully publish your podcast.
But as the great Jimmy Dugan from A League of Their Own says: “It’s supposed to be hard. If it were easy everyone would do it. The hard is what makes it great.”
With that said, breaking down the process into smaller, isolated tasks can definitely help make your podcast production journey a little easier, and that’s the goal of this blog. An amalgam of all the challenges and questions my clients have had over the years, and the ways we’ve been able to overcome those challenges…each broken into isolated topics that are easy to digest and apply to your podcast!
You’ll discover strategies and tactics that I’ve found to be successful, as well as ones that didn’t work and have ended in epic failure (which, let’s be honest, is probably the more valuable learning experience). You’ll also find (as you’ve already seen) an abundance of movie and TV references that I’ll somehow, very loosely, tie to the topics at hand.
At the end of the day, my goal is to empower you to publish professional-sounding, insightful and entertaining podcast episodes by using all of my podcasting and audio production experience.
So whether we are talking about how to develop an episode structure, recording your first podcast, or building your audience, you’ll find something here to help you on your journey towards producing a top-notch podcast series.
Until next time….
Happy Podcasting!
